Establishing CNG Conversion Centres

The MDGIF aims to promote the use of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as a cleaner alternative to traditional fossil fuels. To achieve this, the fund will establish CNG conversion centres at 20 federal tertiary institutions across the country. These centres will provide students and staff with the opportunity to convert their vehicles to run on CNG, reducing their carbon footprint and reliance on fossil fuels. • The conversion process involves replacing the vehicle’s fuel tank with a CNG tank, which is then filled with compressed natural gas.

CNG Facilities for Institutions

The project aims to provide a cleaner and more affordable alternative to traditional fossil fuels for transportation.
