The partnership aims to drive the adoption of sustainable solutions in Nigeria, leveraging the expertise and innovation in clean technology, combined with 21st Century’s robust infrastructure and extensive network. The core areas of partnership include:

Speaking on the partnership, CEO Wale Ajisebutu emphasized the significance of this deal, stating that it aligns with 21st Century’s objective to build digital infrastructure, solve problems, and offer solutions to Nigerians and customers. He noted that sustainability is at the heart of the company’s activities.

Sweden’s Crown Princess, Victoria Désiré, highlighted the urgent need for accelerated green transition, emphasizing the importance of co-development, expertise sharing, and innovation. She also expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating that it is an inspiring example of how businesses and governments can work together to drive positive change.

In a statement, Désiré stated that the success of the green transition requires bold action, innovation, and cooperation. She also acknowledged the importance of academia and civil society in driving sustainable solutions, citing sectors such as renewable energy, mining, and transport as examples.
